Rosa's First Halloween

October 31, 2009

Since it was her first Halloween and she was barely 2 months, there is really no Halloween theme here. We just took a lot of pictures, so I am trying to give equal billing. First, the Dada comparisons.

Now, a good head lift.

And to make you turn your head.

E-Speak: Halloween

October 31, 2009

I don't know what this day is all about, but Mama and Dada said I could dress up and go ask our neighbors for candy, and then they would give it to me! I asked to be dressed as Rintoo the Tiger from Ni Hao, Kai-lan, the greatest show ever made. If I don't get at least three episodes a day I get all twitchy.

There apparently was not an actual Rintoo costume so I got to be "Joe Tiger" who everyone thought was Tigger. Look at the head. Seriously.

Do I look happy? Take it OFF!

Sweet freedom! Let's get our treat on. Here is my practice "ROAR" face.

My tiger ferocity tempered a little once I saw people, so Dada had to carry me up to the doors. I used my tiger stare to get candy, just as intimidating. This is House #2 of 20-ish.

Here I am walking with Dada. He seems big sometimes. He went as Dr. Pepper. He's a real costume genius. I advise you to reschedule if your doctor enters the ER in fleece.

Here I am hitching a ride with Mama. They always pick up me up when I say,"Up." I'd swear they were the ones born yesterday and not my sister.

Here I am back in the car for the ride home. I filled Elmo's vacant head in about 35 minutes.

Now I get to kick back with my haul.

To the victor go the spoils.

Peace, E

Plotting

Oct 31, 2009

I was working on sorting through the Halloween photos when this plotting evil genius shot showed-up. This is from the car ride home from trick-or-treating. And I believe she is plotting how to get her hands on her sister's candy. I feel we certainly missed an opportunity to dress her as a sinister evil doer of some sort. The Woman Who Stole Wisconsin's Cheese, perhaps.
