Hospital

November 6th, 2011

Emmy: "Let's play hospital."

Daddy: "Are you coming to my hospital or I am going to your hospital?"

Emmy: "You are going to the hospital."

Daddy: "OK. Are you going to be my doctor?"

Emmy: "No, I am going to hurt you."

I could explain some of how we got here, but I think the jury would be sold on premeditation at this point.

She then rode her pretend bicycle very fast and ran into me.

One Daddy rib broken to great pleasure.

Pain Tolerance

Dr Emmy had just finished examining me. And I had to take some medicine, a shot in my knee, and get lots of rest.

Then it was Dr Daddy's turn to examine Emmy. I diagnosed a case of the sniffles and recommended a shot to make it feel better. She took it. And stated, "That didn't hurt an inch."

Exactly.

Laundry

I love towels, they are always right-side out. (Many other things are not).

The Party's Over

Too much Crisppus can wear you out!

The Mounting of the Bed

December 12, 2010

"I'll give you a hand."

"No Thanks."

"Trust me."

"I do not."

"Trust me"

"I don't think so."

"Why not?"

"Do you see yourself right now?"

"What ME?!"

Decorating the Tree

December 5, 2010

Now that we had the tree set-up, it was time to decorate. Rosa was excited.

Emmy had the Crisppus spirit.

This work took focus.

And encouragement via rewards (aka smoochies).

Rosa loves rewards.

Start of the Holidays

December 4, 2010

The day of the tree hunt. We do hunt wildlife on this side of the Lloyd family on occasion, usually a fine melon at the Farmers' Market, but today we hunted the big game. A Christmas tree. Or as Emmy seems to say, "Crisppus." It was cold, wet and snowy. Very Crisppus-like.

Rosa was quite the logger.

But took a couple short cuts...

Emmy spotted the tree, I believe the quote was, "That's the one. I nuv it." Cue family poses.

After Daddy cut it down and had it sent to our carriage, we went to warm our trotters at the barn, and there near the manger, I had a vision of "The Jesus."

"Praise be to me, bring me lots of presents!"
